In 1991, Youth Initiatives officially registered as a charity in West Belfast and began working with young people, primarily within Poleglass. Over the last three decades, Youth Initiatives branched out in the Colin Glen Area through weekly programs and outreach.

In 2013, Youth Initiatives officially opened their very own community hub in Poleglass, cementing their legacy within the community.
