Our Story
In 2006, peace funding allowed us to open Youth Initiatives in East Belfast commencing the first area for the organisation to employ our methodology outside of West Belfast. East developed out of our desire to build on cross community relationships which had developed over the previous years.
The organisation has now established itself as a key player within the East Belfast community and in 2021, YI expanded to the Ballymac area, successfully incorporating the YI methodology amongst more young people.
