The Crosslinks project, a partnership between Youth Initiatives and Diverse Youth NI, saw over 55 young people engaging in weekly good relations arts workshops over 6 months to write and produce their original theatre and art exhibition.

This year their theatre performance, ‘Murder Mystery: Dead Serious’, followed a group of unlikely guests who discovered that embracing their diverse backgrounds empowered them to work together to solve the murder of Mr Alfredo Sorrentino. They performed a lively Scooby-Doo–style haunted house performance where comedy and suspense intertwined, ghosts appeared as musicians, dancers, and eerie staff, and the mystery culminated in the surprising reveal of a singing, dancing maid as the cunning murderer.

This showcase of art, dance, music and drama was performed in Stranmillis Theatre on 22nd March to over 400 family, friends and funders.

Funded by TEO, DFA, CRCNI and Peace Plus
