Celebrating the Legacy and Impact of Voices for Impact

Last Friday project partners and stakeholders came together at the Bytes Glengormley Hub to look back at the accomplishments and the learning that happened across different regions for the Voices for Impact project, which is supported by the PEACEPLUS Programme (managed by SEUPB).
Even though this event was the end of this part of the project the Voices for Impact digital platform is still fully working to serve as a foundation for evidence-informed youth work and advocacy.

Key Achievements of the Project:
4,000+ youth responses captured on critical issue areas.
200+ youth workers and educators trained across 9 capacity-building sessions.
80 organisations actively utilising the platform, with over 600 having data access.
30+ young people directly involved in governance via Youth Advisory Hubs in Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

Thank you to all those who helped with the project, including Ian McKenzie from YMCA Ireland, Sarah Robinson-Galloway from YouthLink Scotland, John from BEAMA, Nicola Hughes from Bytes and Youth Advisory Hub member Bella for sharing their thoughts during the discussions.

The lessons learned from this partnership, including Bytes, YMCA Ireland, Boys & Girls Clubs NI, Youth Initiatives, NYCI, YouthLink Scotland and CWVYS will continue to shape youth work practice and policy moving forward.
